Entry Hostile aeroplane flying SOUTH over camp was driven off by one of our machines. A Brigade Field Exercise was carried out the scheme being a counter attack on line of NARFOOHA NULLAH. TC.93. The enemy was represented by 8th ROYAL WELSH FUSILIERS and ONE section 40th MACHINE GUN COY. The attack was carried out by 4th SOUTH WALES BORDERERS, 5th WILTSHIRE REGT, 8th CHESHIRE REGT, 3 Sections 40th MACHINE GUN COY (2 18 Pdr BATTERIES and 1 HOWITZER BATTERY imaginary) under command of Lt. Col C.E. KITCHIN D.S.O. UMPIRES for the defence Lt. Col H.E. CROCKER D.S.O, A/Capt W.G. BAKER M.C, for the attack Lt. Col R.H. HASELDINE D.S.O, Capt H. MARR M.C.
