| Entry | Party segregated for smallpox rejoined the Battalion. A Brigade Field Exercise was carried out, a flank attack being practised towards the SERIA. Defence 2 platoons 8th ROYAL WELSH FUSILIERS representing 1000 rifles and 4 guns. The attacking force was composed of the following:- 8th Royal Welsh Fusiliers (less 2 platoons), 5th WILTSHIRE REGT, 4th SOUTH WALES BORDERERS, 8th CHESHIRE REGT. 40th MACHINE GUN COY, 66th BRIGADE R.F.A. (imaginary), and BEARER SECTION 39th FIELD AMBULANCE. |
