| Entry | 22,23,24th Our Artillery bombarded enemy position intermittently with a view to cutting his wire. The Battalion engaged on Trench improvements and general preparation for the attack on Turkish post line. On the eve of the 25th all was ready and everyone knew exactly what he had to do in the assault the following day. The spirits of all ranks were particularly buoyant all appearing quite confident. |
