| Entry | Monday 2 Shells dropped into S.1 redoubt occupied by 'C' Coy one man being wounded. Quiet day. Gifts of Cakes and Xmas puddings etc received by troops and much appreciated; the Regiment had their Xmas dinner in their trenches, in addition to gifts a very good ration was issued and all were in splendid spirits. The weather was dry and fine. |
