| Entry | Abu Shitaib Camp Divisional Exercise. The Battalion took part in a Divisional Exercise marching out at 11.30a.m going into Bivouac near ruined village in the Amara Ali Gharbi Road near No11 Donga for the night. An attack was carried out next day on an enemy position covering the Bridges over the MUSHARRAH Canal, the 40th Brigade attacked on the right with the 38th Brigade on the left, the 39th Brigade being in reserve. |
