Entry Abu Shitaib Camp Reconnaisance party under Capt R.W. F. Jesson with a composite company of 100 men went out to MUSHARRAH canal, were sic [where] various methods of Fording, and transportation of troops, stores, ammunition etc, across the canal were tried. Special night operations were carried out West of Camp. Hon. Lt Qr Master G. Rumsey M.C. rejoined from India and assumed duties of QrMr, vice 2/Lt J.W. More relinquished
