Entry Marched at 2a.m 30th for SHEIKH SAAD arriving 6a.m, Pitched Camp. Took over Redoubts 'A' and 'B' from 1/4th Devons and Redoubts 'C' and 'D' from 36th Sikhs, each redoubt being in command of Company Officer. Battn. Also found three Intermediate Posts of 2 N.C.O's and 12 men each. R.H. Haseldine Major Comdg 5th Bn. Wiltshire Regt.
