| Entry | Camp 'F' Inspection (in marching order) of the 13th Division by the C in C Gen Sir Archibald Murray. After the inspection the Division marched past in Column of Routes. The C in C expressed his satisfaction with the appearance of the Division notwithstanding its continuous solid performance of the arduous duties of the Campaign on the Peninsula in which it had participated for seven months without respite. The Brigadier General informed the C.O that the C in C had in particular complimented the Battalion on the general appearance and smartness. Remarks: C in C inspection |
