Entry Portianos Camp Arrival of draft. The following officers joined Capt. A.B. BOSANQUET 3rd D.C.L.I. Lt. J.W. CARSON 1st Wilts Lt. R.W.M. DEWHURST 5th Wilts 2/Lt. S.H. CLARKE 3rd Wilts 2/Lt. J.E. BINNS " 2/Lt. J.C. GILBERT " 2/Lt. R.E.C. SPENCER " 2/Lt. H.C. PREST " 2/Lt. G.L.S. LIGHTFOOT 10th Border Regt 2/Lt. W.F. PEEBLES ". Capt. Bosanquet, Lt. Carson and 2/Lt. Prest had seen service with their units on the "Western Front" and the N.C.O's and men included among several who had been wounded or invalided from France. C.S.M. Kepner DCM, Capt. Bosanquet takes command of 'D' Coy from Lt(Tempy Capt) Patterson and Lt. Carson took over command of 'A' Coy from 2/Lt. Inman. Lt Dewhurst took over command of the machine gun section from 2/Lt Macmillan. 2/Lt Binns was appointed signalling officer.
