Entry On instructions received, landed :- (I) nine G.S Limbered Wagons (empty, with harness.) (II) Mens Kits (III) Officers base kits. Following disembarked. (1) O.R. Sergt. (2) 1 Sgt, 1 Cpl and 3 men in charge of kits (3) 2 Cases for admission to Hospital. (4) 16 Transport men ( to proceed to ABOUKIR Strength present with Bn H.Q. 30 Officers} 946 Others} 9 a.m Lt F. Priestley reported on arrival from Aboukir, where the majority of the transport is encamped. He reports that 1Sgt, 16 men, 9 horses, 14 mules, have been sent on to LEMNOS. He is at Aboukir himself with 10 men and 50 animals. Drew blankets (one per man) from ordnance. Weather fine, and hot.
