| Entry | 27.12.18 to 31.12.18 The period was spent in settling down again after the excitment of Xmas and incipient demobilisation. At 0915 on the 30th the detachment from PORT SAID rejoined. GENERAL During the month a number of concerts took place at the RAF HANGER Theatre to which the RAF kindly invited all ranks. FOOTBALL During the month the Bn team has been consistently succesful playing 7 matches and winning them, the most notable victories being (1) over the 75th Div Machine Gun Bn in the Div Cup 4 - 0 (2) over our old friends and rivals the 1/5th SLI 2 - 0. |
