| Entry | The Wadi in the neighbourhood of the bivouac area was constantly subject to enemy shell fire, evidently drawn by one of our batteries a little way behind our position. During the morning and afternoon of 6.6.18 shells (4.2) dropped in the area and a number of casualties was suffered. Our casualties were 1 Officer Lt F W Saunders wounded, OR 2 killed and 8 wounded. 2 OR subsequently died of wounds. |
