| Entry | 2300. The Battalion was relieved by the 2/3rd Gurkha Rifles and went into subsector Reserve in WADI BALLUT at V13a. Relief completed at 2300. During the time the Battalion was in RAFAT very considerable work was done in improving and strengthening the defences, the work being superintended by 2 OV Sappers and Miners, and working parties provided nightly by 2/3rd Gurkha Rifles in Subsector Reserve and Battalion in Divisional Reserve.
