Entry The Battalion remained in the same position. The Turks under a Red Cross Flag started collecting their wounded. A party of 1/4th Wilts went out to do the same but were immediately shelled, one stretcher bearer being wounded. Three Turkish deserters came in. 58th Rifles arrived to relieve the Wilts, the relief being completed at 2300. On relief the Battalion moved to WADI EMIR on S slope of HILL 1191, with one Coy on HILL 1164 (V10 b55) covering the 1/5th Somerset L.I. at RAFAT.
