Entry 1200. No 4 Coy, under Lieut J G Lockhart was ordered to move to the old HQ of 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles at BENAT BURRY (V23d) to act as local reserve to that Regt. 1915. After arrival, on consultation with OC 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles it was decided that the Coy would be in a better position to perform its task if it were in the WADY ARAK. The Coy moved accordingly to a small side wadi running from the WADY ARAK at approximately V17d central. The move was completed at 1915. Capt J G Arkell left the Battalion to take up duties as an Instructor at the School of Instruction at ZEITOUN. Captain H L Lovell Hewett took over command of No 1 Coy.
