| Entry | 0300. A Patrol of 1 BO [British Officer] and 13 OR 3/3rd Gurkha Rifles left our lines and advanced to enemy OP at point 489. An enemy party of 12 was seen near the OP but retired rapidly upon the approach of our patrol. No other enemy were seen and the OP was found unoccupied. 0400. A Covering Patrol, Lieut E T Evans and 20 OR took up a position on the ridge NE of KULEH and remained until the patrol to point 489 withdrew. 0530. The patrols returned to our lines. Reinforcements 6 Officers and 32 OR arrived. |
