| Entry | Battalion resting and cleaning up in the BOIS de COURTON. The GOC 58th Brigade and Staff Captain visited the Commanding Officer and congratulated him on the work of the Battalion. In the afternoon the Divisional General also called to see the CO, who happened to be away at the time. The Divisional General highly complimented the Battalion on their excellent work. Major WS SHEPHERD, MC, joined the 58th Composite Battalion and took over command, Lieut Col GFE RAPSON being ordered to the Transport Lines. |
