| Entry | The Battalion remained in the same position all day, the enemy remaining more or less quiet. Much movement was observed in the neighbourhood of VILLE and IHERY. The Artillery were informed, and heavily engaged these targets, including some two or three known MG emplacements. The night was quiet, and was spent in organising the defence in depth, rear lines being dug and occupied as soon as completed. |
