| Entry | Quiet day Brigade competition took place. The Battalion won the guard mounting, trench digging, and map reading; was second in the Runner's race and revetting and third in wiring. The afternoon brought forth a Brigade rugger match and a regimental soccer match v. 11th South Lancs Regt: won 2-1. In the evening the Battalion went up to the line and put up two blastworks, these were completed by midnight, and the Battalion returned to PARRAIN CAMP. |
