| Entry | Battalion inspected by Brigadier General GOODMAN CMG who saw the Battalion in close column of companies. This done the Battalion marched past in column and back in quarter column the General taking the salute. An attack scheme was then carried out in the vicinity: this lasted some time the Battalion being on parade from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Major MARTIN rejoined the Battalion from commanding the 19th (service) Battn Manchester Regt. |
