Entry Enemy shelled our support companies heavily during the morning. The afternoon passed quietly. In the evening we were relieved by the 2nd Bn ROYAL SCOTS FUSILIERS. Relief was completed by 10pm. We were unfortunate in having casualties with Headquarters on the road to billets from aeroplane bombs - 1 killed and 5 wounded. Battalion billeted at PARRAIN CAMP in tents.
