| Entry | Enemy quiet all day except for spasmodic artillery fire, most of which was directed quite uselessly at WALL FARM ("C" coy HQ). Conditions for men very bad especially the Left Front company. Support companies were not too badly off and quite dry. Enemy planes very active especially in the morning, large flocks of planes coming over several times. |
