Location Belgium, Trenches
Entry Shelling around same area as previous day and all heavy stuff. 2 platoons of CONDUCT had to move up to J.13.c and the position was reconnoitred by 2/Lieut. W RUDMAN, 2/Lieut KNIGHT ( CONDUCT) and 4 guides. They were in position by 2pm and ready to move forward to relieve people on our left. Two companies of COFFEE relieved our 4 companies and Major WOOD took over our Battn HQ at J.19.b.1.1. as an advanced HQ and relief was complete by 2am. The companies proceeded to CHATEAU SEGARD via OBSERVATORY RIDGE ROAD, and the majority reached there by 5am.Capt FEB MORITZ reassumed command of "D" coy vice 2/Lieut VH TROW.
