Entry "A" coy experienced a good deal of MG fire from NE corner of BODMIN COPSE and the enemy shelled no mans land continuously and around J.19.b.1.1. 2/Lt PK SMITH relieved 2/Lt S COLLIER at night. Weather continued wet. 2/Lieut W RUDMAN and 4 nco's from "D" coy went to OBSERVATORY RIDGE ROAD as guides to CONDUCT (R. West Kents) who, together with COFFEE ( 7th Buffs) came up into support in JEFFERY TRENCH and JAM SUPPORT. Quite quiet and CONDUCT was in position by mid-night. Rations were fetched under company arrangements, going at 7, 8, 9, and 10pm. 2/Lt EL HALL to England on leave.
