Entry Enemy artillery active on back areas. LOVERS WALK ("D" Company) was shelled at 12.30pm, and an AAMG at junction to GOUROCK road was buried. Work at night local - on own company trenches, except "A" company who supplied two parties (1) 2 officers 90 OR's on a cable trench (2) 1 officer and 40 OR's under RE's. 2/Lieut HC CLARK and 26 other ranks again patrolled area, similar to area covered by previous patrol. 2/Lieut FC BRITTAIN and 2/Lieut HS STARKEY joined for duty from ROUEN, and posted to "D" and "C" companies respectively. Remained with Details on Transport Lines.
