Entry Usual artillery fire throughout the day, which increased towards evening. About 9.30pm a party of the 2nd Yorkshire Regt. (about 250 men), under Capt COLLEY, reported at headquarters and proceeded to the front line for the purpose of digging a communication trench to the existing OP at O.31. Central. The Brigade Pioneer Coy, under Capt MYERS, also came up to wire front. The work was completed and the parties returned, passing Battalion Headquarters before 2.30am.
