| Entry | Divine service was held in the morning at the Cinema Hut BERNEVILLE. About 6pm orders were received that the Battalion was to hold itself in readiness to move at one hours notice to support the 89th Brigade, who were cautiously feeling their way forward towards MERCATEL on the heels of the retreating Germans who had evacuated their lines in this sector the previous night. The Battalion did not move however. |
