Entry 7 other ranks joined from ROUEN. At 9.0am the enemy fired four 10 inch armour piercing shells which fell in close proximity to the RIDGE ROAD and reserve coy dugouts, but did no damage. Remainder of the day quiet weather wet. MAJOR AVP MARTIN rejoined from leave.
