Entry Nice bright morning but turned to rain about midday. Our aeroplanes very active all the morning. Some enemy 'planes attempted to cross our lines but were driven back by anti-aircraft fire. Divisional Depot opens. We sent 74 recruits for training, also 2 officers and 6 ncos as instructors. 2/Lieut WC SHAW left to go on a course at Corps Lewis Gun School at MONDCOURT. Corps heavy artillery carried out 2 shoots on enemy roads at 5.0pm & 6.15pm respectively. 2/Lieuts ACB DODD, HH MARTYN & WG FIELD and 5 other ranks proceeded to England on leave.
