Entry Capt A St JCDM KING wounded. 2/Lieut GR GARNETT took over command of C coy. The enemy barraged our front line from 5.0am until 5.10am when he lifted onto support lines and remained there until 5.45am. No attack followed. Usual artillery activity. Battalion was relieved by 19th Manchester Regt and moved back to FLERS TRENCH west of TURKLANE and FLERS SUPPORT. This relief was shelled and we sustained about 12 casualties.
