| Entry | Battalion rested until 6.45pm when it moved up to the front line, relieved the 17th Battn King's L'pool Regt and occupied the extreme left of the Brigade area, viz:-from SUNKEN ROAD to strong point near GOOSE ALLEY. A, B & C Coys held front line, 'D' coy in support. Enemy shelled our support lines intermittently throughout the night. 2/Lieut RL SCULLY came up for liaison work. |
