Location France, Flers trench
Entry Battalion rested until 6.45pm when it moved up to the front line, relieved the 17th Battn King's L'pool Regt and occupied the extreme left of the Brigade area, viz:-from SUNKEN ROAD to strong point near GOOSE ALLEY. A, B & C Coys held front line, 'D' coy in support. Enemy shelled our support lines intermittently throughout the night. 2/Lieut RL SCULLY came up for liaison work.
