| Entry | Battalion marches via CANAL BANK and relieves the 17th KINGS LIVERPOOL REGT in the VILLAGE LINE a system of keeps and billets in support to the GIVENCHY Sector trenches. Relief complete at 8PM. 'A' company holds the WINDY CORNER group, 'B' coy the CENTRE group, 'C' coy PONT FIXE SOUTH and 'D' coy PONT FIXE NORTH and ORCHARD KEEP. Work is at once commenced on the improvement and maintenance of these keeps. 'A' company supply carrying parties during night for 19th Manchester Regt. |
