| Entry | At 3.30am our carrying parties are still hard at it when the Battalion comes under the orders of the GOC 90th Brigade who requires assistance in the holding of MONTAUBAN. The Battalion assembles and advances to this village at 4.30am reinforcing the thin line of the 90th Brigade who hold the northern skirting of the village. We come under heavy shell fire which is continued all day until we are relieved late in the evening by troops of the 9th Division. |
