| Entry | The day passed quietly. Just before midnight an intermation was received that the enemy were expected to make an attack on our front in the morning. Preparations were at once made. Battalion HQ, the 1/2 coy in local reserve at CARNOY and the 1 1/2 companies in BRAY were at once moved up to Battle HQ. The night and the early hours of the morning were very wet and stormy. |
