Entry Battalion paraded 7pm Commanding Officer addressed the Battalion on the good work done during the recent fighting and presented cards signed by the GOC 7th Division to the undermentioned men for conspicuous bravery in the field CSM Moss Sgts Jolliffe Snelgrove Robinson (Sgt Robinson received the Distinguished Conduct Medal) Cpl Williams Pte Gale Brown Bandsman Hill Regtl Sgt Major AJ Hill also received a card for conspicuous conduct in the field, Sgts Wilson (signalling Sgt ) Sgt Vardy Cpl (A Sgt) Player L Cpl Canston Lce Cpl Collins Lce Cpl Baxter Pte Stephens Olig & Price who were wounded and in hospital at this time ( were also recognised ) were unable to receive their cards for conspicuous bravery.
