| Entry | Captain EC Mudge joined for duty and took over command of 'D' Company. Orders were received for the Battalion to proceed to LUMBRES about 26 miles W of ROBECQ and 7 miles SW of ST OMER, where they came into GHQ reserve and detached from 21st Brigade. Battalion paraded at 8.45 pm and marched to AIRE, a distance of about 9 miles, arriving there at 1am 28th inst, where they slept in infantry barracks. |
