| Entry | Battalion in trenches. The casualties being 1 officer 2 Lt VRW Johnson and 2 men killed, wounded 4 men, The following letter was received from Divsl headquarters of 27 inst. " The Divisional General has received the report of the fighting near NEUVE CHAPPELLE, between the 10th and 14th March. He commends the conduct of the 2nd Bn Wiltshire Regt in the stubborn fighting in difficult trench country and much deplores the losses sustained by this Battalion."
