| Entry | Battalion paraded at 5.45pm and marched through ESTAIRES and LEVANTIE and relieved the 2nd Gordons in the trenches at PICINTIN, about 2 miles N of trenches in which they had occupied during the battle of NEUVE CHAPPELLE. The 21st Brigade relieved 20th Bde and three Regts Wiltshires, RSFs & Bedfords occupying trenches and Yorkshires remaining in reserve billets about a mile in rear. |
