| Entry | 2 Lt HJ Samut from HAC and 2 Lts FH Friend and FH Bone from Artist Rifles joined for duty. 2 Lt Samut was appointed Brigade Grenade Coy Officer. The Battalion still commanded by Capt EL Makin ( Capt RMT Gillson having assumed command on 9th but was wounded on the morning of the 10th the command consequently reverting to Capt Makin) was sadly depleted of NCOs having lost in killed, wounded & missing, CSM Street (killed) 11 Sergeants 10 Cpls and 27 Lce Cpls and a number of appointments had now to be made to fill up the vacancies. |
