Entry | Battalion relieved by RSFs and again returned to billets in FLEURBAIX. The strength of the Battalion now was 745 all rank. Casualties from 18th Decr being 6 killed 12 wounded 20 admitted to hospital with sickness. Considering the trying conditions the percentage of sickness was not so great as might have been expected, and most of the men admitted to hospl were Kitcheners Army. The time serving men and reservists in majority of cases standing the hardship with great fortitude and even cheerfulness. |
