| Entry | Battalion relieved by RSFs in trenches 'B' Company remaining in Brigade reserve at CROIX MARECHAL from 30th Dec to 5th Jany 1915. Previously 'C' Company had remained in Brigade reserve from 18th to 30th Decr. Trenches were in such a bad condition that the company occupying right section was cut off from the two companies in left section. Headquarters were moved from trenches to a cottage about 250x in rear. The HQ dugout being completely isolated by water from remainder of Battalion. |
