Entry Battalion proceeded to BAC-ST-MAUR and were joined by a draft of 2 officers and 300 NCO and men the officers 2 Lt WBP Spencer and 2 Lt SJ Bolsham Middx Rgt. With 150 NCOs and men of the draft composed the new 'D' Company under Capt Rowe the remainder of the draft were evenly divided between 'A' 'B' & 'C' Companies. Battalion (780 strong) paraded at 3pm and marched to FLEURBAIX in Brigade reserve the 7th Division were to have made a general attack but the 20th & 22nd Brigade having failed the Yorks who were making the attack in 21st Bde did not move. The Warwicks of 20th Bde lost heavily in the attack. About 9 pm the Battalion moved into billets at Fleurbaix.
