Entry Brigade marched off about 4am and Battalion were met by draft of 96 NCOs & men under Lt Beaver who had been wounded at the AISNE whilst with 1st Battalion . A few hours previous 1st Battalion passed draft to take up a position close to the place where 2nd Bn had been. Brigade passed through YPRES and on to LOCRE where they arrived about 8.30am. Brigade marched off at 3.30pm to BAILLEUL where the Battalion now commanded by Lt Beaver, were billeted at GRAPPERIES, RUE-DE-LA-GARE.
