Entry 12.00. Battn advanced by Bounds in direction of BEAULENCOURT M17 (Sheet 57c S W ). D Coy acting as advance guard, supported by A & C Coys with B Coy in reserve. 1st Bound LUISENHOF FARM ROAD N13d - N19b. 2nd Bound Sunken Road from N21a - N15c. 3rd Bound N22a 5.0 - Trench in N16c. 4th Bound N24a 5.1. - along BEAULENCOURT ROAD to N18 a 1.0. (Appendix14). No opposition was encountered until the 3rd Bound had been reached when the Battn came under very heavy machine gun fire from BEAULENCOURT and heavy shell fire.
