Entry At 8.30a.m. the Coys commenced to take up positions in trenches and shelters vacated by the 6th and 7th Leicestershire Regt, the move being completed by 12 noon. The Battn was now accommodated in trenches about 500yds E of ACHEUX WOOD. The vicinities of FORCEVILLE & W of BEAUSSART were shelled at intervals during the day. At 8.30p.m. Battn HQ moved to a railway cutting 100 yds E of ACHEUX WOOD, the move being complete by 10.0p.m. Quiet night with strong rain storms. Casualties: Officers 1 wounded. OR 1 died of wounds, 3 wounded.
