Location Belgium, Crucifix Corner
Entry Trenches, near N Eglise. Owing to the enemy having approached his line very near to that of the British, a counter attack was decided upon in which the Battn took part, driving the enemy back to his original position. Hostile artillery very active all day and night. Casualties: Officers Capt R Cecil, Lieut H B Burkett, killed. Capt G K Wait MC wounded. ORs 8 wounded.
