Location France, [E of Fremicourt]
Entry Weather fine but cold at night. The enemy made strong attacks upon the Corps Line (VAULX - MORCHIES) in front of the Brigade Sector and by the evening had carried the line by assault. The Battn spent the day in consolidating the position and getting up stores, ration, SAA etc. The Battn Pack Transport proved of the utmost value in this connection. There was some shelling of the Battn front and a few casualties were cause. The evening of the 22nd/23rd past [sic] quietly.
