Entry | C & D Coys practised Coy attacks & the reduction of strong points. A Coy fired upon the range near ACHIET LE PETIT & for B Coy there was a route march in fighting kit to BIHUCOURT. In the afternoon in the inter Coy football A Coy defeated D Coy by 6 goals to nil: later B & C Coys held practise Cross Country runs. During the month reinforcements joined the Battn on dates as follows:- 8th I other rank. 9th Hon Lieut & Qr Mstr C J Jefferies. 21 42 other ranks. 22nd 1 other rank. 25th 3 other ranks. Casualties were: 5th Wounded 2nd Lieut E S C Parsons MC. 6th Wounded Pte Arnold A Coy. The strength of the Battn at the close of the month was 20 officers, 624 other ranks.
