Entry The whole Battn was required for work upon the VAULX - MORCHIES line defences, half being employed upon digging, half upon wiring. In all over 300 other ranks were employed: they were divided into ten parties, two of which left camp at 8.30a.m. while the remainder left between 4.30p.m. and 5p.m.
