Entry The Battn was relieved in the evening by the 4th Battn S Staffs Regt and upon relief went back into Battn Reserve at VAULX - VRAUCOURT. Owing to the mist the relief was carried out at an earlier hour than usual and was completed by 6p.m. It was effected without a casualty. One casualty was sustained during the tour No 33933 Pte Bolt, W. of A Coy killed while one of a covering party in No Man's Land on 31.1.1918.
